Not I!! Hey, I just found this thread.... I just got my '03 S2K 2 months ago..... I've only seen one other.... same color around 355 and Army Trail.
I've been driving every day it hasn't snowed..... (That would be a lot?!) I am jonesin' for a hot summer night.... and a little racing! No one around here seems all that interested in playing. WHat up with that???
Hope to see you all around!
Best,
Colleen
I cheated, I took mine out today after I swore I was done for the season. I saw a Berlina making a left on Plum Grove from Nerge Road today about 2:30-3:00 PM.
It had red seats......
I woulda waved but I didnt see it till the light turned green and it was making a left

Racergirl, welcome....make sure you take it easy with the stock tires and cold roads. Is a misconception that the OEM tires not liking wet and snow and salt....when in fact, it can be as dry as a Bond martini with no salt or snow on the ground and the stock tires will be just as unforgiving.
Sean, as for the salt, don't fret. Just clean the car about once a week if and when you drive it through the Chicago snow and salt. Don't forget to thoroughly rinse the underside of the car as well.
What I did last winter was to run my oscillating sprinkler under my car for 20 minutes in the garage once a week. Then I would wash it as well...the washing part was easy seeing that I ran cold and hot water pipes into the garage.
If you or anyone in the Chicago area wishes, come on by during the winter to give the car a warm water bath.

I work in the area and use those every morning....although now the S has been retired for the winter. She will be getting a makeover though

I usually see a few S2000s every week - mainly all on the interstate - I dont remember specifics as I am normally rushing to/from work!!
Havent seen our mystery woman in the yellow on 355 lately tho!!

I can't really get at my car anymore without moving the OTHER car I have stored for the winter.
So there is no chance of getting the S out any time soon.Is it spring yet?

Personally I like to drive fast on the street, but I tend to avoid racing on the streets, too much testosterone and adreneline is a bad mix. (Well for me at least, YMMV
)There will be quite a few track days next year. The most popular seem to be at Gingerman raceway in Michigan. I know I will be going up there as much as I can next year. I suspect since Donnie B spent so much money on his race tires, that he will get up there as much as possible to. Also Harry (HECASH) is one of the instructors, so we should see him up there too.
