I saw a handful of S2000s on the MN Lake Superior Northshore and on HWY 1 up to Ely about two weeks ago:

That was DEFINITELY me. I met up with a few buddies to take the boat out on Prior that day. We saw a crew of firefighters doing some type of rescue drill on a boat near the beach while others were taping it.That day I was either parked in the parking lot by the beach area or over next to my friend's truck/trailer over in the boat area. It's funny, I distinctly remember ripping out of there that day. You weren't by chance one of those guys who was commenting on my Dwayne Wade jersey were ya? There was a group of younger guys that couldn't stop talking about my jersey. Kinda weird. I went to my car and I threw my cooler in the trunk and slammed the lid. Little did I know, I put the cooler in the wrong area of my trunk and now I have a "goose egg" on my trunk lid.....a nice little dent facing out. We don't really go out on Prior anymore since the cops have been so bad on the lake.


BTW, I'm trying to get rid of my Tannabe exhaust. I'll trade someone for a stock set-up or something close. I really don't like how loud the car is.

 

I was there but I didn't comment anyone on their jersey, I'd parked further down towards the middle of the parking area, your S was more toward the end.
I was wondering what type of exhaust that was, I didn't want to be like one of those that comes up on someone else's car and act like it's theirs, don't you just hate that?

 

Saw a stock Berlina S today on France Ave, also few blocks down a stock NFR S passed me as I was stuck in the left turn lane. Wow, two S sighting in one day .

 

Pulled up into the gas station on Hwy81 in Brooklyn Park, while fueling up a young asian guy in a Sebring S pulled in and stationed himself on the other side of the pump I was on. Asked him if he had done anything to his S, said it looks stock, he'd replied that it is. He'd checked out mine and told me he loves the look/sound of my Invidia, told me he's gonna pick up a intake but not sure what yet.

Should of told him that I got a used Tanabe SMR for sale in my garage , oh well.

 

I saw a yellow s2k in the back of the southdale parking lot by 66th and France at about 5ish then a few blocks east on 66th I saw a silverstone going by BK. About a hour n a half later at the Best Buy off of 494 and Lyndale I saw a lowered yellow s2k with 18s and exhaust, I'm not sure if its the same one as before cuz I didn't get a good look.

 

Pulled into Auto Zone and spotted a Spa S there, owner (non-S2ki) was pretty kewl . Said he only has the Invidia V2 and some unknown testpipe on, he did mention that he'd just ordered a Comptech SC kit from Comptechusa.com. Said he was looking for a used one for a long time but couldn't find one, told him he should check out this site.
Get this though, he said he'd just figured out the secret compartment on Sunday . Said he'd owned his 01 S for 5 years and just found out, also he installed his O2 right into his testpipe and is currently sporting a CEL . Being a good guy, (seeing that we're still at Auto Zone) I'd showed him the Spark plug non-fouler trick but he wasn't interested.
Loved his OZ's though, .

 

Saw two S2K's today. 1 AP2 Sebring, heading north on WI-35, and a LBP on US-61 headed south while I was headed back up to the twins. It was a great day to be out...

 

Last Wednesday I saw a silverstone outside of Old Chicago in Plymouth during lunch. Is that anyone here?
