Like it was said, extreme summer tires have no business being used in the winter period. I decided to take out the S in 20 degree weather with my RT615's, a tiny bit of snow on the ground. Not even pushing it, not even taking it above 4,500 rps, I went to shift, the rear end kicked out and I curbed my brand new CE's. after that, never have I driven the S with summer tires below 40 degree weather. You cannot control Summer tires in the snow above 30 miles per hour period. I buy a used set of snow tires every year or two. Much safer and you can still have your fun in the snow.

Back in 98 when I had my Trans am, I drove it once in the winter, went to blockbuster to get a movie, it was 6 miles away. It took me half an hour to get there hugging the curb lmao. then when i got there, I parked, came back out and took me 30 mins just to get out of the parking lol, so much TQ lol. I didn't drive it all winter after that lol.

I couldn't agree with this more, but if you're practicing a slide in winter conditions, use winter tires.

I bought my s2k with worn down all season tires. Being I thought that I could get thru the winter with them. The first time it snowed I immediatly decided to get some winter tires lol.
