Default Snow fun

Oh man, I had fun drifting last night. With the right wheel tire combo, driving in snow is a peice of cake.

Yeah, I was out in the Z06 with the WRONG tire combo. It was not fun.

I am not going to store it this year. I'll drive it on nice days.

I still haven't put the snow tires on my actual winter car yet either.

I had to drive back from Best Buy and I foolishly thought that I could manage the snow with stock tires, that was a blunder. I was doing may be 20 mph and sliding all over the road and I was holding on to my life and holding back traffic. I pulled over by the first parking spot I saw and took a cab home from there(that was the only smart thing I did all day). I went back after 3 hours after the snow had stopped to get my car.

FYI....I have an extra set of OEM stockes for sale, just waiting for all-season or snow tires to be mounted to them.

I'm selling the wheels cheap!

I took the girlfriend drifting for the first time on Wednesday morning. I rented a 4WD Matrix, what a champ! It's a little tricky but if you leave the auto in L1, she will oversteer quite nicely.

Nothing parties like a rental!!

I've got my yokos on my car now, and snow wasnt a problem at all. Its going to be interesting to try it out in some real snow. I think when that day comes, I'll do some donuts in the large Metra parking lot in front of my house, and then go park the car back in the garage, and take the train to work. =)

I went all over. Snow drifting is something I've been doing since I've had my license. It's a good way to enhance driving skills. Getting used to sliding the car. I still wish I had some snow tires on the car so I could have a bit more control when sideways.

i had loads of fun last week. i have a full set of blizzaks and they worked wonders!

driving in the snow should be a piece of cake.... as long as it doesn't get too deep, then my car will just plow it all over the place.
