It better not snow!!! I dont have anything to drive. I guess i wont be going to school or work those days. I might be able to get a beater this saturday. What do you guys think, its a 92 Laser turbo. Its only got 80k on it. It is a pretty ugly color, its like a teal. I dont really mind it tho. If i get it, the boost will definetly be going up. I know that DSMs are not really that reliable but, if i dont beat on it too much it should be ok.

If you get that laser, I wouldn't touch that boost!!!! Like you said they are not that reliable. If you turn the boost up you're just opening a can of worms you don't want. I used to work at a Mitsu dealer and all we had were these damn things in with blown motors and whatnot.

Aren't there any Honda products out there for under 2g's?

I bought Nokian WRs and am keeping my fingers crossed that they're great in the snow.

I went to look at a honda civic. God these things are so damn expensive and so crappy. This thing was almost two grand it was a piece. I also found a hyundai the little hatchback. It was a one owner only 80k on it for just 1500 out the door. I think I could still get it lower. It actually drove kind of nice. It didn't burn any thing. The only thing wrong was that the clutch would slip. I couldn't really tell untill i beat on it. I was so mad i missed this other deal. This guy sold a 94 integra with 75k 5 speed for 2100. That price is unbelievable. Well what do you guys think of my new find?

Higher mileage Integras and Civics are great finds....especially at $2500 or less.

If you're looking for a Civic hatchback as a beater, you guys find them all day long on the west coast and just have the car delivered for $500 or less.
