That bike is cool as hell and it's going to be a blast to ride. The exhaust setup is so sweet.

Sweet! I had a 71 CL350 Scrambler - same bike! Mine was a horrible shade of green, though. Was a BLAST to ride in the twisties. Cafe'd it with period correct Dunstall rearsets, straight handlebars, and bar end mirrors. Even took it to a track day. You're gonna have a great time!

The look of the high pipe is killer - everyone will notice it and tell you how sweet it is

Only weak points were the floats would stick (which you'd notice when you were at a light and gas would start pouring out of the float bowl drain) and the points themselves started to go, so the bike would miss at around 80-90mph.

Was able to acheive 110 mph top speed going downhill on I-55 near Channahon while being pulled along in the draft of a buddy on a VTR 2 up. In the twisties it'd drag the pegs on both sides - just watch for that center stand grounding out...

If you're out this way and want to take a blast down Big Timber, or if you want to get hooked up with the folks from COMPoSTriders.com for some Kettle Moraine or SW Wisconsin rides, lemme know.

Enjoy!

Radek, congrats, and we'll have to go cruising sometime. I ride my sister's shadow 650 once in a while.

Give me a call when you get a chance , I don't know if I called the right number, I need to find out if you still have the silencer.
