Can't wait to here how many times you hit fuel cutoff on accident in that car before the end of next week.

Yup...got it yesterday afternoon.

First impressions: OH MY GOD!! I love this car. S2000, what S2000? Hahaha.... just kidding. I havent driven the S in almost a month, so it was not hard letting go at all.

OK, To start: Torque, and gobs of power. This car pulls in all gears. 40 in 6th gear and it pulls like the S2 did at 60 in 6th gear. Shifter feel is incredibly solid, and smoother than any S I have driven. Road feel is great, not quite the S2, but much better then my 03 TL. Steering is incredibly responsive, but very light at certain times which takes some getting used to. Clutch engagement is opposite of the S2, almost right away, and the DBW throttle is very sensitive, and again just takes some getting used to.

Tech stuff: This car is amazing. The bluetooth paired flawlessly with my new phone. (RAZR V3) and works incredibly well. I can store up to 50 names and numbers in the car's phonebook, plus dial on command just by saying the number it's self. I can also dial numbers for any businesses that I search for with the nav system which is nice too!

The voice command system is also extremely user friendly. I have full control of climate, radio, cd, xm, tape, and nav screen just by pushing a button and saying the command. For example, push the button and say "Passenger temperature 58 degrees" and it will repeat it back to me, then perform the action. "Climate control off", "XM Channel one fifty" "CD Play disc 6 track 1" "Radio one hundred three point seven FM" etc.....its incredibly sensitive, and will only make an error is you speak too fast, or if there is a lot of background noise (ie windows open).

I just cant get enough of the car. Everyday there is something new that I find!

I will get some pics up sometime soon!

does it come with "super pursuit mode"?

It sounds like a 4 door knight rider.

Finding something new is called an "easter egg". If you Google it, there's a site that saves all the "easter eggs" in every car (it's ordered by car).

You'll see a list of 100+ easter eggs for the new TL and the 3 & 5 series BMW's. Lexus has no easter eggs...it's all laid out in their owner's manual.
