Default A SUGGESTION....

Can we keep the *whoring* to the relevant threads only....

seems like all of a sudden EVERY thread gets sidetracked and ruined and its making it hard to find information or keep on topic.

There are a number of threads in the UMW right now suitable for ing all day long.....

I dont wanna sound like a grumpy old git, but c'mon.....

Believe it or not.... I agree whole heartedly.

PPD, don't want to work - whore away. Leave the rest of the threads on-topic.

OK, I'm just kidding. I have noticed an UNUSUALLY high degree of 'ing lately too. Finding relevance on meets is more important (SLIGHTLY more important) than 'ing.

I know WSB has been doing a bit recently to manually get threads/posts in order with the nature they were started in. I'm also starting to get a bit annoyed with "off-topic shenanigans", so you may start seeing more posts editted and/or deleted by me as well.

Keep in mind it's not personal, it's just an effort to keep the UMW forum clean, organized, and inviting.

BTW, I'm starting with the deletes in this thread....notice how the discussion/topic flows now?

Thank you, now move along.

There's a difference between activity and positive activity.

We want to see positive activity: meets and events, technical/modding discussions, goodies for sale, etc. If all the activity amounts to a small handful of people goofing off, it does nothing for the other 50-100 people that may browse the forum on any given day. If you want to see what happens when a small handful of people take over a forum with whoring and inside-joke behavior, check out Ohio
