Default surefire theft deterrent

I have thought of a way to deter thieves from your s2000. It's very simple and doesn't require you to do anything to the s at all.

Buy an Integra type R and park it next to your s at night.

lol speaking of deterring theft...

I saw someone on the forum wire the ignition to other cables so in order for the ignition signal to pass through, other steps need to be done (eg. need to put windshield wiper to the on position before starting), which is like a kill switch but integrating the car rather than a visible switch.

I just wish I know how to do that...

It could still be towed

Serial ghost switching. I had it on my Prelude, which had gone completely keyless (this was before the AP1 came out).

There were four hidden/integrated switches that had to be toggles in a particular order and within 2 seconds one switch to the next. The car would light up on the fourth switch.

....and yes, someone can still tow the car. Thankfully there aren't too many thieves with tow trucks. Willing to bet that all the recently stolen S2000 were done with immobilzer defeated ECUs being swapped in and then the ignition jacked with a screw driver.

I think the bottom line is any anti-theft devices are for deterring lazy thieves. If someone really want your car, they'll get it.

trust me, you will end up losing both on the same night. my friend who had a rsx type s (probably not as attractive as the type r) parked to his S2K, and both were stolen on the same night.

bottom line is that if there's no limit on how many car they will steal at the same time. parking more cars next to your s2k will result in more cars being stolen. haha.

Let's all just start stealing cars. Eventually you'll steal yours back from someone else. Hahaha

I was thinking a metal plate either screwed in with all different and weird screws or carefully welded in under the dash
