I swapped exhausts at the same time so i cant give you a good answer to that question, but I can assume it should because it isnt as restricting as a cat, but I dont think it will be very noticeable.

I had a Greddy TiC 70mm single on my S2000. Tried with stock cat and an Invidia 70mm test pipe. The test pipe mellowed out the sound and took away some of the rasp and drone at cruising speed.

Yes, it did cause a smell. Not bad unless the wind is wrong at a stop light!

I have that pipe with a stock exhaust, you will not notice a performance gain with a TP alone. It can contribute to improved performance along with other mods to intake/exhaust and tune. The exhaust will sound slightly different; some will say better, but it's personal preference IMO. It will smell bad. I have contemplated swapping back to stock, but will probably eventually upgrade the rest of the exhaust, in which event, it seems like the TP may be more worthwhile, but again, still personal preference...

I'm rocking a Science of Speed TP and I freaking LOVE it.
I dont have a header, but i do have a Apexi catback, and with the TP and catback combined it gives the vtak power band a little more ooompf and a more aggressive exhaust note.

Anyone notice droning with a TP and a catback? I'd hate it if there was droning or an annoying noise at just highway crusing or low steady rpm's. If the sound is loud over VTEC, then that doesn't bother me of course.

I don't remember any drone on my AP1 with an Invidia TP and a custom dual catback exhaust.

I'd buy it if it had preintalled flanges to bolt this in place of the cat.
