Default Test pipe vs non test pipe

As most of you know I went up against pushin9 the other week.
He has invida exhaust/test pipe/intake and stock gears on his car.
I have HKS/exhaust/intake and 4.57 gears on my car. At any point he pretty much walked all over me. Rolling start mid speed start anywhere. He took me pretty good.

Last weekend we put the invida test pipe on my car. wow what a difference that made. My HKS sounds superb, throttle respond is much better and now we are pretty much neck to neck on speed. I know I should still be able to pull on him, but I have lots more wait in my car, and he just has a powerful car.
Overall the test pipe was a huge success and would recommend it to any one. The sound of my HKS alone would make it worth the cost. easy to do and only around $100.

^^ I have the Berk testpipe with my stock exhaust. Yes, it did make quite a difference at pretty much any speed - it seems to rev quicker than before...

Well, I think the dragon sticker I put on my car is responsible for at least 20hp of that

I'm pretty stingy when it comes to mods, but the car feels more powerful and sounds better...not bad for $100

the new invidia tp doesn't have the o2 simulator. i believe berk tech is still the only guys that have this "feature" (even tho they are on backorder for a bit, the container's coming in shortly).

Hmm...I guess it does sound ricier than stock...but I guess any change would sound ricier than stock (rice is such a vague word). I like it...and my friends like it...but we have our ricey moments. I'll say this - it sounds deeper and louder but not as much as an aftermarket exhaust.
