Thanks Pinyo ...
For those of you that don't already know this ... this guy knows his shit and is unrelenting when overcoming unexpected obstacles.
What started out as a simple (his term) 3 hour differential swap on my S2000, ended up as a 16 hour "adventure for me.
First off, let me say you Chicago guys have my respect for dealing with your tollway on a daily basis. I gave myself three hours for the two hour trip down from Wisconsin for this swap since it was Friday afternoon. Left home at 1:30pm expecting to reach his house early for the 4:30pm appointment. Thanks to some "congestion" on I-294, I found his place at 6:30pm. And, I had to pay money for this ...
After, some trips to Sears to replace some sockets and purchase a grinder to deal with some seized propeller shaft bolts ... the OEM unit was out by 11:30pm.
New/used 4.44 gears in and yellow box installed by 2:30am ... home by 5am.
Thanx pinyo for all your expertise and shared knowledge, thanx for the beer and pizza, thanx for allowing me to hang with your "boys" who made me feel welcome and thanx for your determination to get me on the road. I am very happy with the swap and couldn't help smiling with the new "pull" I now have in the low gears.

aaaha,
Now that you have your own grinder, I guess that I won't be visiting you at the garage on short notice and I'll lose my status as "Sir Galahad of the PITA Allen bolts."
It's tough trying to stay up with you young folks.
BTW, next time you're doing beer and pizza, call me.
Good job, Pinyo.
