Thanks for nominating me. But, I think it would be hard to be a CO in my position. I will still have meets and tech days. And help were I can.
I can be a CO if it was just communication and the internet, but I am limited to meets and putting things together. So it would be better for the group for one of the others, who all are qualified, to be the CO.

So I am declining this opportunity.

If you can convince her to move to Wisconsin, Minnesota or Indiana, then I'd second it myself. But since she lives in IL, she doesn't fit the qualifications set forth in the first post.

Yeah...but the fact is he is an organizer and has vested interest in the forum itself. Name 10 people that don't have the car and still are as active on the forum, attend meets, and/or are friends with the 30 yo or younger crowd.

The other facet is that Pete is a bachelor, doesn't have committments to a wife/gf or kids, and isn't 40+. I'm sure he appreciates you considering him an older guy.

Those are just a couple of obvious exceptions of the "other guy" you're talking about.
