Is this a S2000 or Honda only gig? Otherwise, I may come down with Joe.

sure... you can come along if you'd like. But I have a feeling that we will be running on an somewhat open track night with other vehicles... so really... it won't matter if you have an S or not. Just being a part of our crew saves you some big $$$

Open Track night is on Tuesdays (Test n Tune nights are Tue, Wed, and Thu) and the cost is $60.

Sunday and Monday night would be a closed track just for us. Cost about $50 unless 20+ cars register and pay. With 20+ cars I could give $15 cash back, or $10 cash back and have the grill open for us.

If we can't get at least a dozen cars together, then Tuesday would work till enough folks come join the Fun. Then we could start Sunday Nights once a month.

Right now I am looking for everyones input. This could turn into a all day weekend event for 2006 or 2007 if everyone has a Great time and the news spreads across S2ki.

GingerMan is a very safe track with lots of runoff areas.

Sunday night. After a Saturday event (and possibly a Sunday event) would be perfect. I am sure we could get 20 people (mabey not S2000's all, but 20 paying drivers.)

Gingerman is by South Haven, which from Detroit- is an approximatley 2 hours (driving 80mph). So from Cleveland you are looking at about twice that... close to 4 hours (depending on where in Cleveland... could be less if you're closer to the West side of the state...

but IMO... it's one of the best and safest tracks in the Midwest... so it will be well worth the drive!

I'm associated with 2 other "Clubs" (Vette and Mustang) that I could probably pull some people in with if you guys are open enough to just have an enthusiast's run. I've got an idea. I'll call Joe, and let him call Fred or whoever and discuss what I may (or may not ) be thinking.

I'm also thinking I might just go and shoot some video and stills for the phock of it since both of my "Race" cars are down right now. I've got an idea with that too.

If we can get enough commitments together now, we could get the track for all day on May 8, but, that's Mother's Day.

I think that we can probably do that for $100-125 per car. We can set up three run groups and run on track in 20 minute sessions. We could even set up a classroom for newbies.

Very interested.
