Well those big sedans which are the typical VIP candidate aren't the most performance oriented cars to begin with, so I don't think its a huge deal.

^ Lexus LS' aren't known for their handling prowess...neither is that Fit Urmil posted up either. VIP doesn't bother me at all on a sedan or hatchback, but to take a sports car and turn it into one just makes no sense to me.

To each their own, I was merely responding to Urmil's question about TJ's car.

^^^ Yep those are the real VIP cars. Trying to imitate VIP style on anything but big RWD Japanese or European cars seems silly to me.

Seems like personally undertaking the aftermarket version of the Cadillac Cimarron:

Honda fit can change lanes faster than a corvette

TJ has posted several times that he never plans to race the car in any fashion.

And in reality he could put on a set of 17x9+35 wheels with meaty ass tires, adj height and camber, and go rip up a road course just fine and not have any rubbing issues.

So he didnt really "ruin" the car.

Like I said, to each their own, but if someone asks me for an opinion I'm going to give it.

As far as TJ, he puts those wheels on purely to get people's attention on this forum and takes them off after a couple weeks and sells them to some poor unfortunate fool who thinks the car will still drivable. All you have to do is look at how chewed up his fenders are putting on wheels that "fit".

A little lip and a little negative camber never hurts anything, but there are extremes for everything.

^ You must be joking, and you have just proved you do not know me whatsoever.

If you are kidding, here's a hint...use smiley's.

What's next? Maybe some gold plated daytons and a chain link steering wheel?
