Aw, you are 3 days too late, just sold mine on eBay.

Sounds great on the throttle from 5-8k, VTEC runs in Chicago tunnels were amazing.

I just couldn't handle the drone at cruise.

I have an HKS, bit too far away to just hear mine though.

Many in the area have heard mine, so hopefully they'll chime in. Invidia is probably 3 times as loud as the HKS, just food for thought.

 

i like the loud but it almost seems that the hks sounds like a ferrari with an exhaust...

 

I have the Q300 or the V4 as some people call it. Pretty quiet on the highway but a nice growl at vtec and good bassy sound from 3-4k.

 

The Invidia to me is too loud, the S is simply not fast enough (acceleration wise) to justify having that loud of a sound coming out of it, to me it looks silly. I also don't like the actual sound it makes either (I apologize if I offend any Invidia owners).

I get a ton of compliments on the way my car sounds (yes, I know that sounds bad) and are always surprised when I say it's an HKS. I know there are better performing exhausts for the S, but I can't imagine ever changing mine.

 

i really want to hear an HKS in person

 

i just heard one guys ap2 with an HKS exhaust yesterday and its pretty loud but not as loud as my INVIDIA version 1. The HKS to me sounds a little raspy in the higher revs which i hate the raspy sound. The invidia with a test pipe sounds throaty and deeper and louder which i like.

i have an invida exhaust on my ap1 with a test pipe. im around niles, des plaines area if you wanna hear mine.

 

my schedule constantly changes... which days/times are you free?
