Who races?
I was just wondering who the hardcore racers are.
I'm picking up my helmet this week, my wheels are in storage awaiting spring (and new rubber
) and I will hopefully have some suspension goodies and custom stuff coming this winter 
Where are my AutoXs and roadracers hiding?

It's LATE October. Racing in this area is pretty well done.

There are a handful of us.(although I don't consider myself hardcore...at least compared to some).
But yes Pete is right, too late in the year. Although i may auto-x this saturday and I think a couple of the guys are heading out the track this weekend as well.
We will be having another Chicago Indoor Racing meet soon - you can use your helmet there
