window tints - any interest?
I want to get my windows tinted, and I recall from a previous thread, that there was a lot of interest from the rest of the community.
Well, I have found a possible hook up on window tinting. I have spoken to them about the possibility of doing some kind of local s2ki discount, and whilst the guy was receptive, he wants assurance that he will get the volume to substantiate the discount to one or two members.
As such, we will probably have to arrange some "tint day" at his premises where he will know that he has a given amount of business and can appropriate the respective discount to us at the same time.
He offers tint from 3M and Sungard, in all levels 50%, 35%, 20%, 15% 5%
The service he is offering is ANY tint level - same price
Tinting will come with LIFETIME WARRANTY and guaranteed not to scratch, crack or fade
ok now for the pricing -
He has seen my S and is willing to offer the following:-
$130 or less for all 3 windows on the S (two sides and GLASS rear) MY02-MY05
<$100 for 2 side windows only MY00-MY01 (he wont tint the plastic as he cannot warranty it)
These prices are based on TEN (10) participants.
If I can show the guy some commitment, I am pretty sure I can get the 3 window price down to around the $100 mark, but please do not sign up based on this alone. expect to pay around $120-130 and if its less then you got a better deal.
For right now I am looking for people who would tint there windows for this price.
Please only sign up if you are positive you want this.
Timeframe we are looking at is in the next 4-6 weeks.
*Just putting your name down because it sounds like a good deal, or your buddy put his name down does not help us, and in truth you are only letting others down when you pull out of the deal.
I should also mention that this is also open to other cars than the S2000. If you want another car tinted, pm me and I will get you a rough idea of a maximum price. obviously, the more people sign up, the better that price will be.
If there is enough interest then this will happen.

This is a SMOKING deal. I did some shopping and the BEST price I could find was over $150 for three little S2000 windows.

I had a dream last night that my windows were about 50% tint...and HERE'S the thread...must be sign! 
Depending on the date I would like to do this also. But wouldn't it look weird getting only the 2 side windows tinted and the plastic in the back would have to stay clear?
