What sorta winter projects does everyone have planned?
As for me, getting rid of my Cwest body kit, doing an AP2 front and rear bumper conversion with an Mugen lip and some sorta rear diffuser.
could use some help/avice on replacing my front and rear bumpers. I'd like to do a wing, diffuser and splitter while I'm at it. My car is an ugly track rat (plenty will vouch for that) so I'm only interested in performance mods. I don't care a whit about looks. I want to take the above and add springs to my KWv3;s that are more appropriate for pure track (and a car with aero) as I have the original kit with the really weak spring and I cannot seem to get enough energy into my take-off Grand Am tires.

I am on a budget (or so says my wife) so I'll happily go with cheaper knock-off versions of parts provided they still perform (as looks and perfect fit & finish don't matter much to me).

So suggest away, including spring rates. I was thinking somewhere around 10-12k up front and the right matching rate in the rear. I'd like to not have to re-valve my KW's just yet. The budget is building up as I also plan on bushings all around since I need to replace the wheel bearings.

Suggest away.

Yeah, not only does my car not look like that anymore, but I'm not even driving the same car (though I still have that one waiting for the time and $$$ to go W2W.

My replacement is a high mileage 2000 AP1 with an AP2 engine / AP1 tranny combo. Oh, and it is missing both front and rear bodywork due to ... um ... practice. Hence the questions about what to put on the front & rear including diffuser and wing options.

I want to get back to using race rubber, but I cannot get the temp into them; a combination of the everything effect as I need bodywork, more spring, bushings, wheel bearings, etc. My last outing was great practice for catching unpredictable handling (paticularly with the rear wheel beaing I could hear 'clunk' as I'd change direction).

Hopefully I'll get the valve cover done this year, and finally get my sides repainted and installed. Also have my front lip that's been sitting around for a few years... Haven't had the time to do the reverse engineering required to make that work out...

Been thinking about getting either an OEM deck-lid spoiler or an OEM wing. ('04+, not the CR park-bench) Can't really decide though.

Another major project is selling my old S2k parts.
