Anyone know a good custom paint shop in town for cheap! I want to re-paint my entire car in a blue. Either Monte Carlo Blue, Vivid Blue Pearl, Midnight Blue, something of that sort. I've even considered Laguna Seca Blue, Estoril Blue, or Imola Orange. I also want my body kit molded to the body. I know a place in Florida that'll do it for approximately $2500 w/out the molding, but I don't want to drive to Florida. Any shops in Utah that'll do it for that much(give or take a few $100)? I talked with Wasatch Auto Body and they didn't seem like they wanted to do it, and if they did do it, it'd be 'bout $5000. I'm going to try Alpine, but I want to know if you guys have any other suggestions. I'll go as far as Cali or Texas to get it done, but I'd prefer Utah. Thank You!

I have spoken to several auto painters within the past week regarding your S2000. The auto painters that I have spoken with were not taking on any new work until May. I have one person left that I can talk to and I should see him on Thursday. I will let you know what I find out...

 

Thank you for your help Ira, however on April 15th I am taking my car to Mobworks in Orange, CA to have them paint my S2000 the infamous Monte Carlo Blue. I will also have my C-West bodykit put on and have the Side skirts and Rear Aprons molded to the body. Hopefully my S will have an Amuse-style CF hood by then too. Thanks again!

 

you sure you don't want a Top Secret hood

 

It sure would be nice, but I don't have the funds for a paint job and a REAL Top Secret Hood, unless you want to trade for something. I have a 2000 CRG 5HP Racing Go-Kart with Mag wheels and extra wide tires. Tops out at 60mph and handles at 1.7Gs. I'm selling it for $1500($3500 new), I'll trade you for it + $200. Or if anyone else wants it, PM me.
