differential removal

Default differential removal

i'm trying to take the differential out so i can have it rebuilt, and the last person that worked on it really tightened hard. i have loosen two of them and one is rounded i can't break it loose.

how do i break the one its already rounded? any ideas? my car is jacked up right now.

If your planning on buying new bolts which im sure you are, and you have access to cheap sockets and a welder... Weld a socket to the bolt and use an impact gun to take it off. I know that's like worst case scenario but its an idea. Another idea... drill out the center of the bolt and use an easy out to take it completely out.

cut off the head, and all the pressure will be released. you could just twist it out.
