That is my car. The transmission is shot. The fladbed was taking the car up to Santa Rosa to a shop that Modern Garage knows. Since the transmission is shot, I'm going to have an 04 tranny put in.

I thought you'd enjoy that I was pretty amused when I read it...

What happened to the transmission? One too many races?

 

It was getting pretty old with a lot of hard miles on it ... including driving all the way back from Wendover on a failed clutch.

Those RX8 guys are a bit touchy though.

 

what a bunch of tools. I just don't get people who call themselves "car enthusiasts" are such brand nazis. Idiots.

 

No kidding, eh? They even closed the thread as they were apparently threatened by us...I've never seen that on that board...oh well...


And I still have the S2K...the RX-8 is the wife's car...

I'd go to Laguna Seca, but engine and tranny rebuilds are out of my price range IF something were to happen. You guys have fun
