Lapbattle at MMP this weekend
Come out to get some amazing and affordable track time at miller this weekend
we'll be racing our S2000 during the MPRA races
This is going to be outer-loop so its the fast course with the full straight that the ALMS and Grand-Am cars run.
Here is some more info from the website -
lapbattle.com
2010 Schedule: May 15th • August 7th • October 30th
Lap Battle will now consist of 6 diverse classes based on modification level, car preparation and tire tread wear rating. This giving you even more ways to win!
In an effort to help competitors grow within the Time Attack community, we are adopting the Redline Time Attack rule set to hopefully better standardize Time Attack events on a local and national level. The addition of 3 NEW Street classes now gives competitors the chance to compete with other competitors of similar preparation level.
The prize payout structure has also changed, so now it will be even easier to go home with prize money. It is based on participation, so the more people in your class, the bigger the payout! We are currently in talks with several more contingency sponsors, hopefully we can help lift some of the financial burden of racing of the competitor's shoulders while promoting local business dedicated to supporting the motorsports community.

Man, I showed up for the last test 'n tune but it's gonna be soooo hot this weekend and...I think I'm going to go to WOW to get my speed fix this coming weekend but Lap Battle is gonna have to wait until the October event.
I might come to check it out, though!
I might come to check it out, though!
Really!! Is there a website that shows what I need to bring and how much it costs?
Can you have a passenger? I'm assuming you need a helmet.
Any info would be great. I went to the MMP website but I didn't see anything related to it. That site is kind of confusing though, and I have only so much quota time at work.
Thanks

Highlights
WOW is offered on the second Wednesday of every month from April to October, starting April 14, from 5:30-8:30 pm.
For $25 take your street-legal vehicle for a spin around one of our challenging, but safe, tracks. We have some precautions in place to keep you and everyone else safe, but it will be one of the most memorable experiences in your life.
Think you have what it takes to race against the clock? For just $1 you can take your vehicle through our autocross course. Go as many times as you want for just $1 per run.
For $35, you can run unlimited laps on the big track and on the autocross course, or at least until you run out of gas!
Another way to satisfy your need for speed is our 10 for $10 karting experience. For just $10 you can take 10 laps on Miller Motorsports Park's world-class kart track.
If you are more into the off-road scene, then Off-Road Ruckus is right up your alley! Bring your four-wheel-drive/off-road vehicle and test your skills on our challenging off-road course. The cost for this exciting adventure is just $20.
For those that are really into speed, the WOW Grand Prix was made for you. Take your karting experience to a new level. Sign up today to improve your skills and compete against other novice drivers. Drivers will be paired based on weight to ensure a competitive field. Classes are: Light (up to 150 lb), Sportsman (151-200 lb), and Masters (201 lb plus). Race day will consist of practice/qualifying, a heat race and the main event. Fees include a $20 license fee (one-time annual payment), $55 per event. Prizes will be given each week to the winners, and at the end of the year to the overall point leader. Although it is a seven-race league championship, drivers have the option of competing in as many or as few races as they prefer.
