Ok, it looks like we're set for tomorrow at 10:00 at the foothills starbucks. I have been looking around a bit, and talking to a good friend of mine, and thought about taking the alpine loop. How does this sound to everyone?

 

I'm going to take a trip down there tonight and first-hand check conditions. I'll post the results later tonight.

 

LOL... so, I'm jumping in if ya'll are still down... my tires are bald as a newborn though... Im about to switch out to winters...

The alpine loop is a nice drive but very slow and narrow.

Ok, I just took my first trip down alpine. Have to agree that it's narrow, slow, and very pretty. Pavement is dry, and I'm willing to go there still, but also willing to be overruled because of slowness. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm new to the area. Is there anywhere else you guys want to go?

 

east canyon is a great canyon.. we can take it down into morgan and see where we want to proceed from there.
