Local Paint
Spoke with Wasatch Body for some paint. Going to need paint for fenders and a lip. Wasatch quoted me nearly $2k for the work. I had my hardtop painted there, and was pleased with the results, but $2000 for the work seems like a lot. Seems like the hardtop covered more surface than a pair of fenders and lip and I am paying $500 more for it.

Russ' Body & Paint out in Sandy does good work and at much more reasonable price than most. He did beautiful work expanding and painting the front fenders on our S2K race car to accommodate 285 race tires all around.
He also did body work and paint a few times, all of which I was happy with both the work and the price. If it was a 2010 R8 or insurance paying, I'd go to Wasatch. Otherwise, Russ'

Well I already got a quote from Russ's. For the front lip, 2 fenders and paint blended into the doors, Wasatch Auto Body quoted me double the price than the quote from Russ.
I am hoping that the car can go in for paint this week, might be the week after this.

Give Russ my best. He's a good guy that does solid work for a great price.
