I was thinking the other day we should get a time thread up here to see what everybody is or has ran out there.

We could use a setup like this;

MMP configuration
-Outer Loop

Time
-2:27 (running on cracked rotors with XP12/XP10 brake set up) First track day ever. My rotors cracked on my first session of the second day. I was starting to get comfortable with pushing my car more.

-Suspension, wheels & Brakes: KWV3's, rear bumpsteer kit, Eiback front sway bar, Carbotech XP12/10 setup, 17x8.0/17x9 Volk CE28's w 245/255 R-S3's

-Engine: AEM V1 intake, Ricks header, 70mm test pipe, 70mm Greddy Ti-C single exhaust

-Exterior: AP2 front bumper with APR lip & PasswordJDM street carbon fiber canards, Mugen SS spoiler, OEM hardtop

brake upgrades, exhaust, coilovers, custom tune, cr aero on 225 and 255 continental dw tires. no other power mods besides the exhaust.

felt like i was going a lot slower than 1:50.2 but apparently i wasn't going too slow. I know i can break into the high 1:40's if I had gotten an alignment beforehand..

Update,

West Track 1:49.765,

Same mods as above but the addition of a splitter, everything else stayed the same.

Will break 1:49 once I get stickier tires.

Custom exhaust with stock header
Tein Flex coilovers
Carbotech AX6 front and rear pads with ATE fluid and SS lines

West track: 1.53.359
East track: 1.56.292

I haven't used a transponder the last 2 years of going, so these times have most likely improved since then. Will have to get some updates next season.

stickier tires now, running nt-05 (still a street compound, not r compound)

I bought a 08 Honda S2000 CR. I have done two track weekends with NASA out at Miller. Here are the times and quick info for now

East Track:
Stock CR Suspension, 215/255 Z1 staggered set up, Intake, flashpro, test pipe (first track weekend in my CR)

1:57.3 (I had a hard time getting clean laps in without hitting traffic as I was running with HPDE 1 & 2. There was definitely time out there)

Outer Loop:
Stock CR Suspension, 255 Z2 square set up, Intake, flashpro, test pipe

2:21.3 (I am shooting for 2:20's next time, I can definitely make up a tenth of a second (.1) on at least 5 corners if not all of them .

Congratulations on the CR and the lap times! The outer loop is my favorite configuration for MMP.

Thanks MSM. Are you ever out there? I love the outer loop. I am running the West track for the first time this upcoming weekend so I will hopefully have a decent time.

I sold my S2K race car a number of years ago, so I haven't been out in awhile. After selling the car it has been arrive and drive with Skip Barber, but just out in CA. I did one event with them at MMP years ago when I still had the S2K.
