New mod!
Just had a new Cusco 4-point Roll Bar installed on my S. I'm getting ready for the NASA Road Race in Vegas next weekend. I'm going down to SEMA that week with my company and the local magazine we're starting and am going to stay the weekend and race. I need a roll bar to compete in this event, so I got the Cusco bar(which matches well with my paint). Hopefully I will have my Corbeau Forza seats by then. Then over the winter, a titanium exhaust, coilovers, new wheels and tires, and hopefully forced induction will be put on my car. I have pics of the roll bar, but they are on my laptop at work, so hopefully tomorrow I can post them. Thanks for listening to me ramble.
I think I may keep the stock seats, but if the right offer(*hint hint*) comes along, I'd sell them. I'm also getting my 4.77 rear gear installed the week after SEMA and I could use some extra money for the installation.
Congrats! I'm looking forward to seeing pics. I'm debating between a custom fabricated rollbar or getting something like the Cusco.
I suggest you sell the seats ... you can get anywhere from $600 to $800 for them. I wanted to get rid of mine quickly without any hassle ... and I still got $650.
I'm very happy with the race seats we put in. No more sliding around on the leather seats!
Where can I get details on the NASA road race? I was thinking about heading down to Las Vegas for the Solo 2 event on 1 & 2 of Nov, but I can't make it. The following weekend might work though!

I found out about the NASA event through a friend who races in the American Iron division. You need to prove that you are worthy to race first before you car actually race, so I am going to take their High Performance Drivers Education(HPDE) course so I can get NASA approved and be ready for the next race. The race will be at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and supposedly there is another local event where they will close off a parking lot and set up cones. I will try and get more info on the race by tomorrow.
My seats will be here tomorrow, but they won't be installed until the week after the race because that week I'm getting my rear gear and Comptech differential housing installed, so I'll get the seats installed too while Christian at Modern Garage makes a harness bar.
As for my stock seats, I guess I will sell them as I need new wheels and tires since my 17" wheels have been sold and I need some new wheels. I'm probably going with Volk GT-7's or TE-37's, or Advan RG's. The seats have a little wear in the usual places and one hole in the driver's seat. I'll sell them for $700 OBO if anyone is interested.

The pics turned out bad because my garage doesn't have good lighting and I can't take it outside because it's snowing, but I will go right now and open the garage to hopefully get more light and take a pic for you. BRB.

I might be interested, but the problem is, will it support my sound system? I only have one amp right now with about 300 Watts, but was planning to get two new amps, think it'd handle it?
