So Honda is apparently worked up about those stickers, and they made the director remove the thread. I never thought they would care that I was using their logo. I will still deliver what I have to those who have requested some.

 

How crappy is that - guess we will have to do this by word-of-mouth...friggin corporate fat a$$e$. I'm sure this has been hashed out in past posts, so I won't even go there except to say...

Rick / Muz / SDickson, and all those who produce products for our cars are helping make our cars more unique and "personalized" for those who care to do so. WE choose to adorn or not adorn our cars as we see fit.
AHM having a choke-hold on the logo is retarded since it does NOT put them in a bad light, but rather serves to promote their fine automobile. ESPECIALLY when you are simply talking about stickers for-crying-out-loud! Don't give me the lame argument that poor quality accessories serve to dilute the product, since we all bought a CAR, not stickers or badges or trunk bags, etc...

Believe me, I get the point about money (revenue) being involved here, but folks (like SDickson) simply want to get paid for time, materials and what it takes to make / send out what they produce. He's not quitting his job to sell S2K stickers! AHM should allow for "limited" use of logos, or at least allow for purchasing a limited (read inexpensive) license use if the product is worthy of said license...to include a disclaimer that the product is NOT made by AHM but simply licensed vs. a reflection of their manufacture, etc. We all bought the car because we're intelligent enthusiasts who appreciate the fine work Honda put into this car...and won't be fooled into criticizing AHM for something someone ELSE made with their logo on it. If that were the case, I think we'd be on the YUGO forum instead

Please spare me the flaming, I DO use SEARCH and DO see arguments pro/con - just needed to vent since I thought these were cool stickers that would serve to make our cars more unique to those choosing to apply them...

No problem, thanks for the support guys. Sucks that I ordered 100 of them, since I was getting about 5 orders/day. That is probably why they threw a fit. I have come across numerous other posts with products for sale using Honda and S2000 logos. The forum director said he would remove any post Honda asked him to, and so far mine was the only one they had an issue with, so WTF? Oh well, at least I wasn't making it a second career. I may be able to cancel the order if it is not to late, or like Jaime said, I could use word of mouth to let others know.
