questions on snorkel intake
I currently have the AEM v1 intake on my car. Am thinkin of putting the stock air box with a K&N, and adding the J's snorkel and then adding the J's hood and the bumper peice that directs it to the snorkel. Has anyone done this or heard of possible gains from the intake setup.
Also, for the price of that setup, I do not think the power gains much greater compared to the v1?
I would also like to see if there is any interest for my (red) AEM v1 with a near new K&N (1,000 miles)? thanks guys.
ALSO....I am lookin for any brand suspension parts:
-rear strut bar
-front/rear sway bars
-rear x-brace
-lower rear tie bar
-any of the cusco member bars or whatever.

I have run just about every intake out there including the original Spoon snorkel followed by Richard Mings Import Developement Snorkel. I sent my prototype to X-Viper when he began playing with intakes. Don't know who he sent it to but I'm sure it is still alive and well out there. While the bumper/intake set-up has a lot of bling value I believe it will be short on the bang for the buck. The V1 is a great intake. I only sold mine when I was given a Comptech Intake to evaluate. Still running that one until someone wants me to test another. The AEM is an awesome product offering good sound and performance. It does have a slight risk of water ingestion in very wet environments. Snorkels perform well to but not as well, in my opinion, as some of the other intakes out there (AEM's included).
