My '01 has all the basic bolt-ons. I need to switch out the spark plugs since the one in the first cylinder i pulled out was all black. I am curious which plug everyone here on the Utah forum was running and what kind of gap is being used? Thanks

 

IMO go with OEM. Pre gapped

 

Be sure to torque them to 18 ft. lbs. If you did not get the TSB done, your manual will have the wrong tq. settings in it.

 

what is TSB?? this is just me being lazy but which plugs come stock for the ap1's?

 

Technical Service Bulletin I believe.

 

stock plugs are ngk laser platinum. PFR7G-11S they are pre-gapped.
shop around, you can prolly find them for 10-15 bucks a piece online.
hondaautomotiveparts.com they are like $12/plug, that was the cheapest place that i trusted. I was also ordering other service items that are fairly priced there as well.
