Late August seems to be the only date that will fit my schedule. I will have to keep this in mind.

 

Date looks like 25-Mar to me.

If that is the date, then it's a MMP open track day. Cost is $275 for the full day plus you need to go through their class (TORDE). More details are on the http://millermotorsportspark.com/home.php site.

Advantage to the above date is that it is the FULL 4.5 mile track!

The Utah Region SCCA events out at MMP are best value (lowest cost); though they don't have any full track events scheduled this year. More info is at http://utahscca.com and forums are http://forums.utahscca.com.

MMP open track days tend to be primarily advanced drivers with open passing. If you're not comfortale with that, then starting with SCCA or PCA or http://lappingdays.com events is the way to go.

SCCA, lappingdays, PCA are all very welcoming of rookies. I've never attended a MMP open day. I may do the one on the 25th as nothing else on my race schedule this year is full track.
