Yah 2 deployments both to Balad/Anaconda. Started terminal in Nov and got the S a couple weeks later. Honestly i havent been this relaxed in a while im enjoying my current state.

 

Nice, how did you like Balad? I have 3.5 yrs left in..... I figure I will deploy twice more. My S is gonna be paid off after my next deployment and supercharged. Muahahahaha cant wait minus deploying. What are you doing now? I have no idea what I want to do when I get out, I am taking college classes right now, so Im on the right track if I do decide, 3.5 yrs of the Air Force paying for it, than I get out and have my GI Bill.

Thats awesome. I cant wait to just relax. Being on leave for a month is the best, but nothing will match the day until I get out.

 

I wanna see that thing with those einkis on it. Can you post a picture? Can you come on the bearlake cruise?

 

I'll post up pics of it. Im thinking about selling them so if your interested let me know. I wish I could come to the Bearlake cruise, but I am currently deployed to Iraq. I should be home in August and would love to do a ton of cruise's where ever. So if people want to maybe start getting some plans possibly, its not too concrete yet of me coming home.

 

Balad wasent to bad you kinda feel cooped up but the base is pretty huge and the MWR is really great hosting alot of nightly events such as karaoke and poker.
Just alot of hot days during the summer and miserably cold during the winter.
Currently im working with the corrosion control for the F22 program at Hill AFB since this was my last duty station i just jumped right in as a contractor.
Im thinking really hard about finishing my degree as well since i have a couple credits and my GI bill lined up.

 

Thats sick man, are you from Utah? I would love to get stationed at Hill and I might think about actually staying in. But I want to get out, just not sure on what I want to do. I wouldnt mind being a contractor for the Air Force. When I leave from this deployment I'll have 3 classes done out here and 4 total. My last deployment screwed up me going to school. But I have some what of a start on college.

 

No im origonaly from Texas, I just got Hill as my assignment after germany. The new supervisor i got here was raised here and went to school and stuff. So i ended up renting out his basement after he got out and we have been just hanging out since. Hill is a great place to either retire or seperate with all the contracting jobs availble on base. People are always hireing you just gotta know some people if you wanna skip the waiting process.
