If I can get it for ~24000 I'd be extremely tempted. The market is flat for S2k's right now, especially the older body style so I don't think $24k would be much of a stretch. 6K miles with the full spoiler kit...hmmmmmm...

Matt-Haven't heard from you for a long time! How's the Neon...SRT-4 doing? I don't think it's much of a stretch and it'd be nice to see you in an S again. I think with some nice wheels on there(something darker), it'd look great! Go for it.

I don't know if blue suits you Matt, but it would be nice to have you back in a real car again

Haha, I don't like the exterior blue too much. I love the blue interior though. I've also been looking at 04's. They look mean in black but no more black cars for me, too hard to keep clean!

The SRT-4 is doing pretty good. It's just not an S2k. The straight line speed will kill the S2k but it just doesn't have that sports car feel to it. I guess I was just spoiled. Either way I think I'll go down this weekend and see how bad they want my business.

BTW, how's the STI holding up? They are so awesome. I got to drive my little brothers' friends car a few weeks ago in the snow..what a beast!

real car... *cough* 1989 Toyota MR2...N/A *cough* hehehe

If you like the color, then it looks like a good deal. When I looked at the blue one it reminded me of my Civic HB from back in the day, but that's just me. Since it's used, I'd get the Extended Warranty. I got mine (7yr./100k miles) for less than $500, so don't let them screw you. Looking at the ad it looks like it has some upgrades...

From the moment you take command, this elegant roadster's new 2.2-liter, 240-horsepower engine will leave you feeling breathless. Track-inspired, street-admired, the S2000. It's time to drive. Additional equipment includes: factory ground effects package. Bring in a copy of this ad to Bryan the Internet Manager for $100 off the price of this vehicle!! Air Bag - Driver, Air Bag - Passenger, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Stereo, Anti-lock Brakes, Cruise, Leather Interior, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Steering, Power Windows, Remote Keyless Entry, Tilt Wheel, Alloy Wheels, CD Player, One Owner, Premium Sound, Spoiler, Theft Alarm, Trunk Release.

So, it looks like they've swapped the motor, put in a new steering column, cut holes for the power locks, and upgraded the sound system. Gotta like that, eh?...I think it's sad when the consumer knows more about a product than the people selling/making it.

Anyways, I thouhgt that was amusing...

Good luck and let us know how that 2.2L is ...

I never liked the Suzuka Blue with the stock wheels, but with some darker wheels or '04 wheels, it looks nice. Let us know what happens. BTW, Dennis, we having a Superbowl party this weekend?

If you're serious about getting one and want another color option there is one for sale here in Layton. I can't remember the name of the dealer, but it's on Main St. They have a 2001 Spa Yellow. It's been there almost a year now and I'm sure he's looking to "wheel & deal". Not sure on the mileage, but it looks clean on the outside. If you're interested I could do a drive-by.

Anyways, just thought I'd throw that out there....

And Trent, yes, I'm going to start a thread now...

I agree. I think with cleared headlights/side-markers. Light to medium tint and a gunmetal rim it would look pretty nice.

Don't worry about checking it out Aftesman. I'm only interested in 02+ Thanks though for the offer.
