one of my co workers bought this electronic rust protection kit and he is very pleased and satisfied with it .. this kit connects to the battery and on to the fender wall or the firewall and what it does basically is that it gives metal surfaces on the car a negetive charge preventing it from oxidizing... it is very slick and small and it covers any metal surface inside n out... thought this would be a great mod for winter time with all the salt on the roads and it costs around 250-300$ if you also dig around the net you can find them for cheaper..
