Having had a hardtop that was lined, I can tell you that it makes a big difference in the winter

As for security, don't give yourself any false hope. All they have to do is break the windows, unlatch the top and steal your top.

Happened to my brother, a friend, and a customer's Miata. All the same way. 1 broken window and the hardtop is gone.

Well i guess you can say that for pretty much almost anything...as there are ways to break/bypass/etc...but having a hard roof compared to a soft one wud definitely make me sleep better at night

now if only you still had your hardtop ed...

you will have to pay part of your soft top replacement - there is depreciation on the top, i believe certain percentage per year of use.

Also, when a golf ball broke my window, it took 6 weeks to ship a soft top from japan... so you better look into getting on soon, or cross fingers that the dealerships have 1 in stock.

Just thought i'd give you a heads up.
