honestly thats your call. but I WOULDN'T do that myself. you can risk breaking them or weaken them. also Im not sure of the material that was used its pretty much a "CF overlay" on top.

but if you decide on doing that make sure you tape up the CF side with masking tape well.

Ya I'm not going to..., it was jus a thought. I think the weaving would cause an issue for sure. Were these on your car? Side strakes I assume were not as they are GPW.

yup I got them brand new and wanted to run the side strakes as well but I got lazy to get painted and installed. then I kinda grew out of the diffusers and I took them off my car for few months and up until now decided to sell them.

Any worries about water and dirt getting caught up in between the diffusers and the car? The seem pretty clean so maybe not. Seems to me that a power spray and drying might be the way to go to keep from build up.

^^^this has always been a concern for me with the diffusers and the fact that you need to put screws into the metal increases the chances of rusting. Fwiw, I would paint the holes with touch up paint though.

water and slight dirt will build up between the diffuser and the underside of car, I would recomend putting a thin rubber washer between the diffuser and the car to prevent water getting in once after you drill it (one thing i didnt do until i saw some slight rust on the diffusers around the mounting holes)
