Default Driving to Vancouver

Hello, I've done a bit of searching to try and figure out the answer to this but I wasn't able to find any direct answers..

I honestly don't know how stringent the aftermarket regulations are on cars in Vancouver except that my friend I will be visiting told me that they are very strict. Such as can't be too loud and things of that sort. I couldn't find any direct answers on Vancouver's government websites, nor via searches, about any decibel limits or what kind of car modification parts would be illegal.

For example atm I have the PasswordJDM intake kit and j's racing 70rs (not the straight pipe version, i still have a cat). and I can't seem to figure out if this would be legal or not since i might actually move to vancouver as well in the next few years and i'd definitely love to take my s with me...

thanks in advance!

Shinji

I have Invidia N1 which is very loud. I have not been hassled in Vancouver but I know of others that have. All I can say is to me it is very inconsistant and it depends on who pulls you over and how they feel, and how you react.

well, just don't drive around all day in vtec and you shouldn't get pulled over. Don't be so low that you scrape on a flat floor as well

^^^
I was one of the 2 people who got caught catless, but in the end, we were just unlucky really. A lot of my other friends run catless and they have never been hassled before. I think your J's 70RS would do fine as long as your being smart going around, like ripping around and VTEC at a busy area.
