Default Friday night drags

This friday is the last friday noght drags at Mission for this season. Wife is out of town so I am going to head down to get a few runs in.

Anyone else going?

I wouldn't mind coming, im going to do some research for a good helmut and call a few places. any recommendations for a good track + drag approved helmut?

Get one that is SA2005 approved. This helmet will be good from track days for at least another 5 years. Or wait till next year for a SA2010 which will pass for 10 years.

Personally, I like Arai's cause they fit my head the best. You should try on different helmets to see which one fits you the best.

Arais are for people with rounder heads, whereas Shoei's fit people with long heads (front to back).

I heard Bell and Pyrotec helmets fit like Arai's.

One important thing is get a helmet that fits comfortably and isn't too heavy. Imagine how sore your neck would be after wearing a heavy helmet on a track day after a 20 minute session.

Open or closed face is up to you.
