I bought a T bracket from Home Depot. Folded the bracket 90 degrees at the T. Drilled new holds on the bracket so that it would match the holes on the plate, and bolted the bracket to one of the bolts under the front bumper.

Total cost of parts from Home Depot was under $10, and the plate sits very close Koski. A bit more to the side of the car.

Now I have the plate zapped to the lower bar on the grill. From the front, you can clearly see the plate and numbers, but doesn't block the radiator.

I don't have any pics of the bracket or plate on my car, but just imagine how Koski has his plates, but mine was a bit further to the side of the car.

If you go to a metal shop, I'm sure they'll be able to cut out a piece of metal for you, and then weld it to your tow hook. Basically they'll cut off the top part of the tow hook so that it's flat, and weld it to the piece of metal. That might cost a bit more though, but it'd be the same set up as Death blossom. I took got a warning the other day so I need to get it fix too.

I didn't feel like paying $60 for a "JDM" plate holder so i made my own

this one is a 20 degree angle

this one is around 35 - 40 degree angle

it looks fine to cops starring from a distance but the plate is on a pretty extreme angle...

i made it in a metal shop using a sheet metal sheer and a metal brake...i'll probably finish it off by powder coating the aluminum black...
