So are we going to wait until Jerry's party in mid September or head out regardless and pray for decent reception?

 

I better add some clarification, 'cause I don't think we all know about Jerry's party... I was recently down in Redmond to attend Taco Tuesday. Jerry Peterson told me that he was having a big party on the second Saturday in September (Saturday, September 13th). The invitation is open to all the Vancouver crew. Now, I know we talked about heading down to Seattle on the first Saturday in September, but since Jerry's party is the following weekend, I suggested to Cong that we might want to wait until then. Jerry's parties are always one of the s2k events of the year ( I think he and Vtecmom are having a secret rivalry). If you want to meet a big chunk of our seattle friends, this is a great option.

BTW, Jerry's bar is so big, I think he could apply for a cabaret lisence and keep it running for a couple of months before having to have to re-stock!

 

So does that mean the trip to Seattle next Saturday over the long weekend is cancelled for the week after? Hmm?....

 

I don' think any decision has been made, I was just thowing out a possible alternative...

 

I'm thinking it's probably more fun to wait until September 13th to make our trip down to Seattle.

Of course if there's lots of interests I don't see why we can't go down during the long weekend and then go again 2 weeks later
