I was out doing some top down driving and enjoying the sun today. I stopped for gas and 3 different people came up to make comments about the car. One lady said, "I didn't know that Honda made such a nice, sporty car". I replied, "They don't", she got a confused look on her face, so I had to explain that the car was now out of production. I remember getting comments like that when the car first came out, but over the past few years they have been few and far between.

I have a little s2000 story too...

I was heading home two nights ago from the UBC area when I saw a Z4 with WA plates that had its top down. Mind you it was 1am and kind of cold. When I was stopped beside them I yelled jokingly at them that they were crazy. The driver said its nice outside you just need to blast the heat so I went ahh eff the cold and went top down too. I heard the passenger asking the driver "is that a honda?" and the driver said "i think its the s2000". So we headed down the ubc highway and all the way through marine to granville until we separated and they probably went back to the states.

Our cars are still nice even 11 years after they first came out

I was getting gas the other day and a guy with a 1970 Jaguar XJ 12 (I think thats the model?) he said it was the first year it came with a V12 had it since new, beautiful car, talked to me for a couple of minutes about how much he loved S2000's. Lots of people still never heard of our cars and lots and lots that comment on how much they like them on a regular bases.

I get a fair bit of comments. Everything from "nice car", to "thats a Honda?", just the other day I had a woman weave through traffic to catch up to me at a light so she could comment me on the car.
Not sure why, maybe cause its red and shinny or ????. Either way I am not complaining.

my wife was in the passanger seat, so either the woman actually liked the car or she was really into me and didn't care that my wife was there. Again either way I am not complaining (and both thoughts are very possible as you have seen me and understand why)
