Default Help changing speakers

Hey guys.
I'm a noob at this speakers stuff. I need some help re-installing stock speakers

The speakers on my car sound like crap and I think the speakers may be blown (there is a cracking sound). I compared it with other s2k's that are stock and the others sound better than mine.

I got a set of 2005 s2k stock speakers to swap in (my car is 2004).
However, I don't know how to connect them because the current speakers in the car are Infinity Kappa with some weird wiring.
See pics please.

Can any one help?

Here is the stock speaker. It looks like I need some kinda plug?

And here is the speaker currently in the car.

You need the adapter for stock s2000 . Or Use a slider( Positive to Positive Negative to Negative) On the stock s2000 speakers it does not say what is + or Negative so have fun.

Does anyone know where I can buy these sliders?
or the adapter?

Also, would it be possible to take if off the Infinity speaker and solder it directly to the stock speaker?

Cuz I'm cheap. LoL.
I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the sound system. Just wanted something decent.
Also, the Infinity speakers are blown and thus, sound like crap.

I've sat in other s2000 with stock speakers and that's good enough for me.

Tires on the other hand.. that's where I'll spend more.

Have a solder gun, or know someone that does?

Very easy job. Just cut the wires off the Kappa's, strip a new section, and solder the wire onto the stock speakers

As long as you connect the positive (+) lead to the same side on each stock speaker, you will be A OK Don't worry if it's labeled or not

FWIW, slider connectors are available at lots of places including Canadian Tire, Wal-Mart and even Daiso.
