Default Integra question

Hi all,

This isn't an s2k-specific question, but it is Honda related! I'm planning on doing a JDM front conversion on my ITR, but I'm not entirely sure what my best option is for finding a decent front end. Has anyone here got an Integra they've done this to? Did you buy the parts new ($$!) or piece together used? And if you know someone who might be selling parts needed for this conversion, please point them in my direction!

Yeah... If I go used I definitely want to be buying locally or from a reputable shop. It did used to be possible to buy front end kits new (saw them advertised on websites like ICB Motorsports and PasswordJDM), but I think you're right that shops don't carry them anymore. The cars have lost popularity, which is fine by me! Anything that makes them less of a target for theft.

I'm mostly wanting to avoid the headache of buying everything separate and then making sure I have all the necessary parts, but it looks like I'll just have to do that.

I used to really like the JDM front Integra. Now I've grown to really like the 4 eyed light USDM front, especially with amber inner lights.

Sorry this isn't much help, but I bet there is a market for Integra owners in Japan who would want to do a direct front end swap with Integra owners in North America. The USDM trend is picking up in Japan.

You've got the dream Honda garage. S2K + ITR = win

Appreciate all the suggestions!

I've managed to locate a complete front end and it looks in great shape! Partially why I prefer the looks of the JDM front is that the panel gaps seem better (more natural?) compared to the USDM bug-eye.

Headlights are going to be my biggest issue. Anyone have a set of AP1 headlights they want to offload? I'm thinking of trying an s2k projector retrofit...
