What i can tell you is be prepared to spend at least $3000 on body work to make everything line up etc. With paint it might be close to 5000 depending on what quality you want everything. If the shop only charges 100 bucks an hour it will take more thne 30 hours to cut body fill fiber etc etc.

do it! it will be sick!
|
ya it will be sooooooooooooo sick haha i think it looks the best in gpw to
|
It's a sick kit but I'd do it if you have enough money after that on engine mods as well, or the car won't deliver the speed it looks to have lol.
|
the rear fenders would have to be drasticaly cut, as the body kit would most likely be riveted on.
would also most likely need a custom exhaust. it would be sick, but be prepared to be in the 10k range when all said and done. that and the kit would probably take for ever to get here lol. |
i agree..would be friken sick!!!
think about new set of wheels and widebody (1700mm) version of your wing. |
$$$$$$!
It's one of those kits that would look pretty cool if done right, and absolutely god-awful if done cheaply. The parts alone will be very expensive. And from my own experience with fitting aftermarket stuff, I'd say it'd cost at least 10k, possibly even more. That is, if you want it to look decent. Maybe some shops would do it for less money, but the quality might suffer. If you're serious about getting a kit like this, have you considered the ASM widebody that Bulletproof is selling? https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=826905 Might be easier to go with that than hunting down the elusive J's kit. :p |

I hope your pockets are deep haha
It looks like the rear 1/4 panels just sit on top of the stock panel. Going to need to cut 1/4s a lot. If you can do all the paint prep/fitment work you can save a lot of money. Kit: http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/catal...ail.php?ID=7057 Wing 1800mm (if not different): http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/catal...ail.php?ID=7165 Canards: $xxx Exhaust (if not custom): http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com/catal...ail.php?ID=7166 Wheels: $??? fenders are like 70-80mm wide i think Tires: $?? Anyone have a guess on how big of spacer I would need for my wheels?
|
what is the offset?
it says its adds 60mm and can run an 10.5 +18 wide rim. |
That will look good. Hope you have it ready in time for the Poker Run..., better get working on it! :photo:

you can probably get away with 20-25mm spacer front and rear.
|
^I think more.
Just get the kit installed and measure accordingly for best results IMO. Just curious, what car did/do you drive before this one? |

Invest the money in RRSP's or something. I cannot even put into words, how much that kit destroys a beautiful looking car.
I may be the only one who feels that way. OK that is all. ~Cam |

Oh yeah, well you could budget for new wheels and tires or you can get spacers. I recommend H&R spacers, but I believe +25mm is the widest in the DRM, pressed studs.

Cool, well if you want to go with H&R, I can direct you to local H&R distributor. You'll get them in a few days after ordering - no BS.
