It makes no sense, as you see book value on a completely new S2000 with 0 km's is $41,500 (this makes sense, as an owner brings a brand new S2000 back to the dealer it makes sense for the dealer purchase this vehicle back at this value because he buys a S2000 from Honda for $43,000, and $41,500 is lower than his invoice price, and he can sell this vehicle for slightly less than the list price for a brand new S2000 and still make the same $6,000 margin)
If a dealer buys a brand new unregistered S2000 from Honda for $37,000 (As mister Chungtaho0918's buddy who works at a local Honda dealer gets) It would make absolutely no sense for a dealer to buy in a used S2000 for $41,500 (book value, NO reputable dealer in the industry ever buys a clean, local import vehicle (meaning no accidents, or out of province) in at $4000 below book, unless it is a Land Rover or a Jag, but that is beyond the point, Rover's are the Biggest pieces of crap on the surface of the earth in terms of reliability) Heck even rough book for an S2000 is at $37,500
So why the hell would a dealer ever buy an S2000 back for $41,500 if invoice is at $37,000! And as dealers usually buy newer vehicles back, book would never list a price that is too high.
Let me put it this way, even if you worked for Honda Canada!!! your price on a S2000 is $39,900'ish
Anyways, I'm not saying you're full of shit, but if the dealer bought that S2K for $37K'ish I would find out why, cuz there might be something about the car . . . . . . . .
DC
When I used to work for a Honda dealership before I asked them what my employee cost is on a S2000. They told me approx $44500.00 plus freight & PDI. It was basically going to be $46000.00 before taxes. Based on those numbers, I believe the true dealer cost is $42000.00.
hey Jason, a friend of mine is actually gonna part out his single turbo BLITZ SUpra(silver colour) 19inch BLITZ rims with FMIC.....etc, he'll love to sell everything with the car so he doesn't have to paid the labour to part things out. let me know if U interest to buy the Supra. that's a 650hp beast^^
