Mohawk Gas
With the surging price of oil these days, I just found that Mohawk offers 90 Octane gas for the price of 87. Next time you're looking for gas for your winter beater, give Mohawk a try!
Mohawk gas in Calgary comes in three grades.
The lowest grade, I believe is 87 octane and is just "regular" gas.
The middle grade is 89 and is achieved with 5% ethanol.
The top grade is 92 and is achieved with 10% ethanol. This is 1 octane point higher than your usual brands of gas here (Esso, PetroCan, Shell), which is 91.
I use Mohawk top grade when it gets really cold here for the ethanol (gasline antifreeze) and the S2000 has not seemed to suffer in any way. I wouldn't put the mid-grade into an S.
