What oil filters do you guys use?
Where do you get them from?
How much are they?

I've been using the HAMP ones from AJR my last few oil changes. When I bought them, I think they came out to about $6-$7 each.

I think the oem filter is around $11 taxes in at the dealership

 

I use the OEM one specifically for S2000 from Honda. I make sure the garage I take the car to for oil change use that.

Basically, I'm just wondering how much cheaper it is to stock up by ordering a few from the states. Or just get them from the dealership each time.

dan1: Do you know if the filter you get for $11 is the one made specifically for the S2000 (15400-PCX-004) or the generic Honda one (15400-PLM-A01)?

i use OEM or HAMP.. bought a box of the HAMP from some dude a while back (old AJ customer), lasted me a few years....

but i think there was an older FAQ that showed the green HAMP filter too

personally, i think the difference is minimal, just make sure it's made for the S2k and change it when you change your oil, and you'll be fine.

 

Yah, I used to use the HAMP ones but now I'll all out.

I'm thinking if I should buy more from AJR. They sell it for so much cheaper than everywhere ($6 vs $14) and with the whole J's Racing thing, I'm not sure I 100% those are genuine HAMP filters...

I'm gonna dissect the one I just took out to see if the guts resemble the real HAMP ones...
