Default poor S2000

I think I have seen this car locally. If it is the same car it was in mint shape from what I could see. I think it needed rear tires from I could see...he came by to look at a set of Rims but did not buy them

I recall the gentleman telling me it has 40 000 kms! I remember this car because of the low kms and color

Yikes. That car belong to a friend of a friend named Kevin. He sold the car a few months back as he is expecting a baby anytime now. Didn't last long in the hands of it's new owner. Looks like the car went into a poll sideways? Hopefully the driver wasn't hurt.

Sad ending.

Is that an original Monte Carlo blue? That's a rare find if it is. Not sure it is though since that was an '01 colour and the tails/top are '02.

monte carlo blue was never offered here for any S2000 in NA. It was one of my fav colours for the NSX and was quite disappointed when Honda decided to bring over suzuka blue instead

Correct. It was a UK only colour IIRC.

This particular car was repainted to Monte Carlo Blue. And from what I recall it's a former US car and the mileage is closer to 160k rather than 40k.

According to the posting on production numbers & colors by country it was offered in 2001 in Canada but never in the US. Not sure how accurate that is though.

Sounds like a shady wrecker. Someone is going to end up buying the drive train from that car thinking it only has 43k on it.

I was thinking the same myself. Maybe it had a swapped cluster? Its interior was supposedly stripped.

Maybe there are two Monte Carlo Blues around? I was only aware of the one but who knows?
