I'm looking into converting my headlights to ap2, but will I need to change the ballasts? Or what else would I need to change? Could I just buy the AP2 headlights straight off without anything else? Seems cheaper that way

You will need to do some modifications as well as being creative with how the ballast mounts.

i think they both same size...but why not just clear your ap1 headlight??

You don't need the AP2 ballasts, but I like my parts to fit together like Lego.
