Valentine One. Don't waste your money on anything less. I am glad I bought one because I have found it to be a great investment. I would have gotten a lot of tickets and higher insurance premiums without it over the last 3 years.

I just use a BEL V940 'cuz they had it at Costco for a reasonable price. I was going to get the Passport 8500 (non-X50) b/c Escort is selling refurbished ones on ebay for a good price. The Valentine one is definitely a good unit, as is the 9500ix, which has GPS capabilities!

Mike, the blinders are for laser? What do they run? How do they work?

agree. Don't have a V1 yet but i've been in s2000_mikes car many times and we often see how far ahead we pick up the readings and also after we pass the source, how far we maintain them...sometimes its ridiculous that you could slow down and light up a smoke by the time you find the source.
Also agree with blinders...even if it saves you once, it's essentially paid for itself.
